Serverless Computing
Serverless computing is a cloud model in which you write and upload code, and the cloud provider runs it on demand, automatically managing the servers, scaling and maintenance. There are still servers, but you never see or manage them, and you pay only for the time your code actually runs.
The most common form is Functions as a Service (FaaS), such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions and Cloudflare Workers, where small functions run in response to events like HTTP requests, file uploads or schedules. Drawbacks include cold-start delays, time limits per run and dependence on one provider.
