I Help You

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026

This policy covers the I Help You website (ihelpyou.in) and the I Help You Android apps, all run by Theekshitha Labs:

  • iHelpYou: Tools & Calculators (in.ihelpyou), with every section of the website
  • iHelpYou: Tech Definitions (in.ihelpyou.definitions)
  • iHelpYou: Everyday Tools (in.ihelpyou.everyday)
  • iHelpYou: Developer Tools (in.ihelpyou.devtools)
  • iHelpYou: Finance Calculators (in.ihelpyou.finance)

Each app contains the same pages as the website (the last four, one section each), bundled so they work offline, and handles data in the same way. “The app” below means any of them.

What we don’t collect

I Help You has no user accounts. Every calculator and developer tool — EMI, loan, income tax, JSON formatter, and so on — runs entirely on your device. The numbers and text you enter into them (income, loan amount, interest rate, code you paste) are never transmitted to, or stored on, any I Help You server. When you close the page, that data is gone, unless you export it to your own device, copy or share a link that contains it (see below), or save the page in the app.

Shareable calculator links

Some calculators let you copy a link that encodes your inputs in the URL, so you can share a specific scenario with someone else. That data lives only in the URL itself — it is never stored by I Help You. Treat these links the way you’d treat any document containing financial figures: don’t share a link if you wouldn’t want the person receiving it to see those numbers. In the app, the share button hands the link to your phone’s share sheet; I Help You never sees where it goes.

Saved pages in the app

The app’s Saved tab keeps the pages you star and the pages you recently viewed (including any calculator inputs in their links). This list is stored only on your phone, is never sent to us, and is deleted when you clear it in the app, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app.

Usage logs

To see which pages and tools are used, and what people search for, the website and the app send a small record to our server when you open a definition or developer tool page, or search. The record holds the page or tool opened, the text typed into the search box (or passed to a tool in the link, such as ?i=), the time, and your IP address. It does not include anything you enter into calculators or tools on the page. These records are stored in our own database, are not shared with or sold to anyone, and are used only in aggregate to decide what to improve.

Cookies and advertising (website)

This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense (or a similar ad network) to help cover hosting costs. These networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or generally through aboutads.info. I Help You does not control what data these third-party networks collect — refer to Google’s own privacy policy for details on how it handles data.

Advertising (Android app)

The app shows a banner ad from Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects device information including your device’s advertising ID, IP address and approximate location derived from it, and how you interact with ads; it may share this with Google’s ad partners. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent first, and shows only non-personalised ads if you decline. Anywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone’s settings (Settings → Google → Ads). See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Delete your data

I Help You and the iHelpYou apps (by Theekshitha Labs) have no accounts, so there is no account to delete. To delete the data described above:

  1. Usage logs (pages opened, searches, time and IP address): email [email protected]with the subject “Delete my data” and the IP address you use (search “what is my IP” to find it). We delete every record from that address within 30 days and reply to confirm. We keep nothing else about you.
  2. Saved pages and history in the app: tap Clear under Recently viewed, remove saved pages with ×, or clear the app’s storage or uninstall it. These never leave your phone.
  3. Advertising dataheld by Google: reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings (Settings → Google → Ads), and manage your Google ad data at My Ad Center. We have no access to it.

Changes to this policy

If how the website or app collects or handles data changes — for example, if a future feature requires user accounts — this page will be updated first, with the “last updated” date above revised accordingly.
