About I Help You
I Help You is a free site for students, developers and anyone who needs a quick answer: short technical definitions, everyday tools, developer tools, and loan and tax calculators built for India. It is built and maintained by Theekshitha Labs.
It began in 2024 as a quick technical definition and conversion site, and has grown into a single place for the small lookups and calculations that come up while studying, coding or managing money.
What you’ll find here
How we build it
Search a term or a tool and get a short, direct answer — no sign-up, no clutter between you and what you came for.
Tools and calculators run in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to or stored on our servers.
Built and maintained by Theekshitha Labs — not a large company, and no lead-generation agenda behind it.
Keeping it accurate
Definitions are written to be short and correct rather than exhaustive, with an example where it makes a term clearer. Clocks and dates use Indian Standard Time unless a page names another time zone, and the holiday countdown uses the gazetted holidays notified by the Government of India’s Department of Personnel and Training. Developer tools use standard algorithms and the browser’s own cryptography wherever security matters, such as for passwords, hashes and encryption.
The EMI calculators use the same reducing-balance formula Indian banks and NBFCs use for loan amortization. The income tax calculators are built against the official FY 2026-27 slabs, standard deduction, rebate, surcharge and cess rules published by the Income Tax Department. Where a rule has genuine nuance — like RBI’s 2025 directions banning prepayment charges on most floating-rate loans — it is called out on the calculator page rather than buried in fine print.
Even so, every result on this site is an estimate for information, not financial, tax or professional advice. Loan terms vary by lender, tax rules can change with each Union Budget, and individual circumstances matter — confirm with your bank or a qualified professional before making a decision.
