Node.js
Node.js is an open-source runtime that runs JavaScript outside the browser, built on Chrome's V8 engine. It lets developers use JavaScript to write web servers, APIs, command-line tools and build scripts.
Node.js uses an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model, so a single process can handle many connections efficiently while waiting for files, databases or networks. It comes with npm, the world's largest package registry, and frameworks such as Express and NestJS are built on it.
const http = require("http");
http
.createServer((req, res) => {
res.writeHead(200, { "Content-Type": "text/plain" });
res.end("Hello from Node.js");
})
.listen(3000);
