USB (Universal Serial Bus)
USB (Universal Serial Bus) is a standard for connecting devices such as keyboards, mice, pen drives, printers, phones and external drives to a computer, and for charging devices. It carries both data and power over one cable and supports plug and play, so devices work as soon as they are connected.
USB versions differ in speed: USB 2.0 reaches 480 Mbps, USB 3.2 up to 20 Gbps and USB4 up to 40 Gbps or more. USB-C is a reversible connector shape, not a speed; it can carry USB data, video and fast charging through USB Power Delivery.
