How to use the SQL WHERE Clause Generator
1. Enter one key=value pair per line (e.g. name=John).
2. Numbers and booleans are detected automatically and handled correctly.
3. Click Generate — conditions are joined with AND.
What is it?
This tool converts simple key=value pairs into a properly formatted SQL WHERE clause. Each pair becomes one AND condition. Strings are escaped and quoted, numbers are kept unquoted, true/false are converted to 1/0, and null becomes SQL NULL.
Example
name=John age=30 city=New York
WHERE name = 'John' AND age = 30 AND city = 'New York'
Benefits
Generate INSERT and CREATE TABLE statements instantly
Convert JSON, CSV, or a field list into ready-to-run SQL in seconds — no manual quoting, no counting columns, no copy-paste errors from spreadsheet data.
Build SELECT queries without memorising syntax
The visual query builder constructs WHERE conditions, ORDER BY, LIMIT, and DISTINCT clauses interactively — useful for anyone who writes SQL occasionally rather than daily.
Migrate between MongoDB and relational databases
Convert MongoDB find, insert, update, and delete operations directly to SQL equivalents — speed up data migration planning or schema exploration.
All your data stays in the browser
No SQL query, schema definition, or database content is ever uploaded to a server. Everything runs entirely client-side, making these tools safe to use with sensitive data.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use OR instead of AND?
This tool generates AND-joined conditions. For OR logic, use the SQL Query Builder tool where you can control each condition's operator.
What if my value contains an equals sign?
Only the first = is treated as the separator. Values like hash=a=b will correctly produce hash = 'a=b'.
