SQL Table Creator

Generate CREATE TABLE DDL from plain field definitions. Supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, and SQLite with auto-increment PK. Free, and it runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded.

How to use the SQL Table Creator

1. Set table name and dialect (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, SQLite).

2. Enter one field per line: field_name type. Types: string, int, bool, date, datetime, text, float, decimal, uuid.

3. Add NOT NULL or other modifiers after the type. Click Generate.

What is it?

This tool generates CREATE TABLE DDL for four major SQL dialects. The same field type keywords (string, int, bool etc.) are mapped to the correct dialect-specific type — VARCHAR(255) in MySQL, TEXT in PostgreSQL, NVARCHAR(255) in MS SQL Server.

Enable "Auto id PK" to prepend an auto-increment primary key column using the correct syntax for the selected dialect (AUTO_INCREMENT, SERIAL, IDENTITY, or AUTOINCREMENT).

Example

Field definitions
name string
age int
email string
created_at datetime
↓
CREATE TABLE (MySQL)
-- MySQL
CREATE TABLE users (
  id INT AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY,
  name VARCHAR(255),
  age INT,
  email VARCHAR(255),
  created_at DATETIME
);

Benefits

Generate INSERT and CREATE TABLE statements instantly

Convert JSON, CSV, or a field list into ready-to-run SQL in seconds — no manual quoting, no counting columns, no copy-paste errors from spreadsheet data.

Build SELECT queries without memorising syntax

The visual query builder constructs WHERE conditions, ORDER BY, LIMIT, and DISTINCT clauses interactively — useful for anyone who writes SQL occasionally rather than daily.

Migrate between MongoDB and relational databases

Convert MongoDB find, insert, update, and delete operations directly to SQL equivalents — speed up data migration planning or schema exploration.

All your data stays in the browser

No SQL query, schema definition, or database content is ever uploaded to a server. Everything runs entirely client-side, making these tools safe to use with sensitive data.

Frequently asked questions

What field types are supported?

string, int, bigint, float, double, decimal, bool, date, datetime, timestamp, text, json, uuid — plus any raw SQL type you enter directly.

Can I add NOT NULL or DEFAULT constraints?

Yes — write them after the type on the same line: email string NOT NULL, status string DEFAULT 'active'.
