Kotlin
Kotlin is a modern, statically typed programming language developed by JetBrains that runs on the Java Virtual Machine and is fully interoperable with Java. It is more concise than Java and has built-in null safety to prevent null pointer errors.
Google made Kotlin the preferred language for Android app development. It is also used for server-side applications with frameworks such as Spring and Ktor, and Kotlin Multiplatform lets code be shared across Android, iOS, web and desktop.
fun main() {
val name: String? = null
println("Hello, ${name ?: "World"}!")
}
