C Programming Language
C is a general-purpose, compiled programming language created by Dennis Ritchie at Bell Labs in the early 1970s. It gives programmers low-level control over memory through pointers while still being portable across machines.
C is fast and small, so it is used for operating systems (Unix, Linux and the core of Windows), embedded systems, device drivers, databases and language runtimes. Many later languages, including C++, Java, C# and JavaScript, borrowed its syntax.
#include <stdio.h>
int main(void) {
printf("Hello, World!");
return 0;
}
